BackThe Elite Angora Veld Ram Sale, hosted by the House of Fibre, took place on the 22nd of January at the Botanics Sports Grounds in Graaff-Reinet, with Jakkie Nel leading as the auctioneer.
The highest selling ram, Lot 30, was purchased by Andreas Nel (Driekuilen Angora Stud) & Ninna v Zyl from Steytlerville for R40 000 from Roelfie vd Merwe (Newlands Angora Stud), Aberdeen.
The highest pen of ewes, Lot 104, was purchased by Petrus Marx (Marwyk Angora Stud), from Wolmaransstad for an impressive R7250/ewe from Grootfontein Students Angora Stud, Middelburg.
