The Vleikuil Boerdery Angora Veld Ram & Production Auction was held on the 24th of February 2026 in Rietbron, where quality genetics and committed buyers delivered strong results. With Pietman Oosthuizen as auctioneer, the highest priced lot sold for R19 000 at the BKB Humansdorp hosted sale.
The Grootrivier Angora Production Sale, held on the 18th of February in Willowmore and led by auctioneer Jakkie Nel, delivered strong results, with the top lot selling for R32 000 to Colborne Angora Stud.
Heritage Angoras Veld Ram Sale, hosted by the House of Fibre, took place on the 28th of January in Graaff-Reinet, with Lot 22 achieving R40 000 under auctioneer Jakkie Nel.
The Elite Angora Veld Ram Sale hosted by the House of Fibre took place on the 22nd of January in Graaff-Reinet, with the highest ram selling for R40 000 and the top pen of ewes achieving R7 250 per ewe under auctioneer Jakkie Nel.
Van Hasselt & Guest Seller Angora Veld Ram Sale, hosted by the House of Fibre at Willowmore Showgrounds on the 15th of January, achieved 100% sales, a record number of rams, and a top price of R80,000 under auctioneer Jakkie Nel.
