The National Angora Ram Sale, hosted by the House of Fibre, took place on the 13th of November at the scenic Botanics Sports Grounds in Graaff-Reinet, with Jakkie Nel leading as the auctioneer.
The standout moment of the day was the highest-selling ram, purchased by Benjohan Snijman (Vleikuil Angora Stoet), Rietbron for an impressive R100 000 from Jordi v Hasselt (Van Hasselt Farming), Prince-Albert.
The highest pen of ewes, purchased by Willem Retief (De Bad Angora Stoet), Hanover for an impressive R8500/ewe from Grootfontein Students Angora Stud, Middelburg.
